LotDeck is a product of Wyser Baron LLC ("we", "our", "us"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the LotDeck mobile application and website.

1. Information We Collect

Account information: Email address and display name when you create an account.
Auction data: Lots, consignors, buyers, sales, invoices, and related records you enter into the app. This data is stored locally on your device and synced to our cloud service (Google Cloud Firestore).
Photos: Images you take or upload for auction lot cataloging. These are stored in Firebase Storage and processed by our AI service for catalog description generation.
Usage analytics: Anonymous usage data such as feature usage frequency, session duration, and app performance metrics. Collected via Firebase Analytics in release builds only.
Crash reports: Automatic crash reports including device type, OS version, and stack traces. Collected via Firebase Crashlytics on iOS and Android only. No personally identifiable information is included in crash reports.

2. How We Use Your Information

To provide and maintain the LotDeck service.
To process AI-powered lot descriptions using your uploaded photos.
To sync your data across your devices via cloud storage.
To send transactional emails (invoices, settlement statements) on your behalf to your buyers and consignors.
To improve the app based on aggregate, anonymous usage patterns.
To diagnose and fix bugs using crash reports.

3. Data Storage and Security

Your auction data is stored in Google Cloud Firestore with tenant-scoped security rules. Each user's data is isolated — no user can access another user's records. Authentication is handled by Firebase Auth. All data is transmitted over HTTPS.

On mobile devices, a local copy of your data is stored in an encrypted SQLite database within the app's sandboxed storage. On web, data is stored only in memory during your session and in Firestore's browser-managed IndexedDB cache.

4. AI Photo Processing

When you use the AI lot cataloging feature, your lot photos are sent to our server, which forwards them to the Anthropic Claude API for analysis. The AI generates text descriptions based on the visual content of the photo. Photos are not retained by Anthropic after processing. The generated descriptions are stored as part of your lot records.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

Google Firebase: Authentication, database, file storage, crash reporting, analytics.
Anthropic (Claude API): AI-powered lot description generation.
Resend: Transactional email delivery for invoices and settlement statements.
RevenueCat: Subscription management for iOS and Android.
Stripe: Payment processing for web subscriptions.

Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We share data only as described in this policy (with the third-party services listed above, solely for the purpose of providing the LotDeck service).

7. Data Retention

Your auction data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your data will be removed from our cloud systems within 30 days. Local data on your device is removed when you uninstall the app.

8. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at support@wyserbaron.com.

9. Children's Privacy

LotDeck is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
